You will not have to move as a result of the proposed development. Your rent will not change as a result of the proposed development (increases through the Residential Tenancies Act will still apply). Tenants will be provided with updates throughout the construction process.
Yes. To accommodate the new building, the existing driveway entrance will be temporarily relocated west of its current location. The secondary entrance will be upgraded to serve as the temporary main entrance. The existing parking ramp will be permanently moved to the south side of the building. Tenants can also expect improvements to the landscaping around the building, the waste management facility, and accessibility features.
Your safety and comfort are our top priorities. We will adhere to all requirements and protocols set by the City of Toronto and the Province throughout the construction process. This includes installing fencing, hoarding, and gates around the construction area; managing construction vehicle movement; providing tenants with regular updates; and ensuring full compliance with all City and Provincial safety regulations.
As part of the construction process, we are required to prepare a Construction Management Plan, which has details and information about the mitigation plan for potential disruptors such as noise, dust, stormwater, erosion, and waste management.
